ESTABLISHED 2026
Small Scale Farming
Tiny Dino Pastures, was started in the spring of 2026. David Mott had the idea to start a pastured poultry operation in Missoula with the goal of producing local chicken that is worth eating and to get away from the factory model of big agriculture. Tino Dino Pastures moves chickens daily on fresh pasture around Missoula after a 2-3 week period in our brooder. The nutrients from the chickens are spread across the field with the daily moves and this limits the amount of fertilizer needed on the farm. A true win-win.

The idea hatched into a new business with the help of his family and his kids joke about their backyard chickens being "tiny dinosaurs".
Many friends, neighbors, and community members have supported Tiny Dino Pastures from the very start.
Regenerative agriculture should regenerate the land and the community at the same time.
